Health Care Reform Affects Dallas Salons

In a recent development or should we say another modification for the federal health care bill, salon owners (especially in Dallas) are the ones targeted as the proposed 5 percent tax on cosmetic medical procedures was replaced with a 10 percent tax on indoor tanning services.

Dallas is indeed a huge selling point for both cosmetic surgery and fake tans. That being said, the area would have been affected either way.

Trouble in Passing Health Care Bill

With all the pressure that this health care bill has brought upon the White House and the Senate, it seems that another dilemma’s arising. Last Wednesday, Sen.
